Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. Users under 18 may only use the Services with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You may not share your account or use another user’s account.

3. Subscriptions & Refunds

Certain features are available via paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you disable auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Refunds for in-app purchases must be requested through the respective store; StepWise Planner cannot process them directly.

4. Intellectual Property

The Services and all content, features, and functionality are owned by StepWise Planner or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or exploit any part of the Services.

5. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for content you upload or generate and warrant that you have all necessary rights. You grant us a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, and display such content for operating, improving, and promoting the Services.

6. AI-Powered Features

AI-generated suggestions are provided “as-is” for informational purposes and may contain errors or bias. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial, or other critical decisions. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of AI outputs.

7. Acceptable Use

• Upload or share illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to obtain the source code
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data
• Use the Services or outputs to train or enhance competing AI systems
• Interfere with or disrupt servers, networks, or the Services

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, war, terrorism, power outages, or third-party service failures.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately for any violation of these Terms. Termination will not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to termination.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be submitted to arbitration administered by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) under its rules. The award is final and binding. BOTH PARTIES WAIVE THE RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL AND CLASS ACTIONS.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Entire Agreement & Severability

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and StepWise Planner regarding the Services. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
